We are seeking a Program Student Support Coordinator who is passionate about neurodiversity, relationship-based work, and holistic therapeutic approaches.

About the Role

The Program Student Support Coordinator helps students stay engaged, supported, and successful throughout their day. This role combines direct student interaction, attendance and scheduling coordination, communication across departments, and collaboration with residential and instructional teams.

Salary:         

$71,000 - $77,000 annually, depending on experience

Schedule:    

Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, with occasional weekend flexibility


Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily student check-ins, coaching, and support.
  • Promote self-advocacy, communication, emotional regulation, and independence.
  • Track attendance, schedule changes, and distribute daily reschedule updates.
  • Support morning dorm observations and Independent Living Skills (ILS) activities.
  • Respond to student requests via the Coordinator Help Line.
  • Communicate updates to instructors, leadership, and families/partners.
  • Document interactions, attendance concerns, and support interventions.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, student-centered environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (or completion of bachelor's by December) + 1 year experience supporting individuals with disabilities required.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Experience with de-escalation, conflict resolution, or crisis intervention.
  • Organized, reliable, and able to manage shifting daily needs.
  • Collaborative, positive, and committed to professional growth.
  • CPR/First Aid/ProACT (or willingness to certify).
  • Familiarity with Waldorf, Montessori, Ruskin Mill, or movement-based education is a plus.
