The Program Specialist (Inclusion Support) provides 1:1 social, emotional, and behavioral coaching to school-age children in afterschool and summer programs.
Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with school staff and families, facilitating positive behavior management, and maintaining a safe environment.
Qualifications involve a minimum of 48 college units or passing an Instructional Aide Exam, 2+ years of youth development experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. Bilingual skills in Spanish and Cantonese/Mandarin are a plus. The role requires organizational skills, cultural competence, and physical ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
