About the Position
This position is with Mississippi State Hospital and is located in Rankin County. The official MSPB classification title is Program Specialist III. This position is assigned to the Evening Administration Department on Building 21. The work schedule is evening shift only, from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The incumbent will perform mid-level program management and support work involving the direction, analysis, coordination, and monitoring of activities for a complex agency program. Duties include assisting with program planning, evaluation, operational review, management analysis, and coordination of program activities. The position requires independent judgment, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with staff and program stakeholders. The incumbent may also assist with training, monitoring, and providing guidance to lower-level program staff to support efficient program operations and compliance with applicable agency policies and procedures.
