The Jewish HospitalMercy Health is seeking a GME Program Specialist to support the overall operations of the Internal Medicine Residency Program by fulfilling administrative and clerical duties.
Duties to include:
Maintain monthly call, clinic, and master resident schedules via AMION, excel, and MyEvaluations.com.
Provides communication monthly for all rotations (goals, objectives and contact information) to residents, site directors and hospital leadership.
Assists chief residents with scheduling and communicating scholarly activities.
In collaboration with the Program Manager of Internal Medicine, this role will assist with:
General administrative support (i.e., residency verifications, write/edit documents, forms, brochures, presentations, posters, etc.)
annual events including recruitment, orientation, faculty retreats, graduation, as well as various meetings and program-related events.
preparation for ACGME Site Visits
monitoring residents duty hours and continuity clinic experience via regular review of data reports.
Monitoring resident and faculty evaluation via regular review of data reports.
maintenance of filing, record keeping, distribution of materials, and other types of program systems.
materials for specialty-specific trainee exams and may assist with proctoring exams.
maintaining databases with resident and faculty data, including residency management software, MyEvaluations.com.
Provide other duties as assigned from the program.

Ability to multi-task and organize information.
Ability to handle sensitive information with absolute confidentiality.
Working knowledge of software applications including AMION, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to make decisions independently or to escalate issues as needed.
Customer-service orientation.
EDUCATION, SPECIALIZED AND/OR TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate/GED required ; College Degree preferred or previous experience in medical education.
