The School of Medicine Research Education Office (SOMREO) is focused on providing comprehensive training in both clinical sciences and basic biomedical science disciplines. SOMREO is comprised of programs that provide students with an integrated and cohesive training experience in:

SOMREO is seeking a dynamic, highly motivated, and goal-driven professional to join our team as a Program Specialist. The Program Specialist will provide lead support to assigned programs and work directly with program directors to ensure the success of SOMREO students. In addition, they will work closely with SOMREO staff and leadership to support various ways all SOMREO programs and funding opportunities.
In order to excel in this position, the selected candidate will be self-motivated and possess strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are also required. They should demonstrate previous project management experience, following up on tasks and communicating with all levels of faculty, staff, and leadership.
