Position Summary
The overall focus of this position is to support the Bellevue College in the High School program (CHS), a concurrent enrollment program for high school students. The position is expected to become well acquainted with the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP) program standards and requires the ability to work in accordance with NACEP and college rules, policies and regulations. The Program Specialist works under the general supervision of the Director of College in the High School and collaborates extensively with Director and the other Program Specialist in the department in carrying out the work of the program. The position advises program participants, parents, staff, faculty, and the public regarding program content, policies and procedures; coordinates meetings and events; coordinates with other staff and programs in the Center for High School programs; establishes and maintains accurate records and files; and performs other duties as assigned.
Pay, Benefits & Work Schedule
Position Salary Range: $45,900/year - $61,296/year
The salary information shown above is a general guideline only. The salary will be determined based on candidates qualifications and related experience, as well as market and business considerations. Individuals newly hired to Classified position are placed in a salary range based on the WPEA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
We offer comprehensive compensation package with salary and benefits as the main components. Competitive salary is within the Range stated above, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The employee is scheduled to work 40 hours per workweek. This is a Classified, overtime eligible position and represented by the Washington Public Employee Association of Higher Education (WPEA-HE).

About the Department
The High School Programs department at Bellevue College serves as the central hub for K-12 partnerships, dedicated to creating accessible pathways for high school students to engage in college-level learning. The department oversees Career Education Options (CEO), Running Start, Career and Technical Education (CTE) Dual Credit, and College in the High School (CHS). CEO re-engages young adults who have left high school, allowing them to complete high school while earning college credits. Running Start offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to earn both high school and college credits simultaneously. CTE Dual Credit enables students to gain college credit for career-focused courses completed in high school, supporting career readiness. College in the High School allows students to take college-level courses at their high school, earning both high school and college credit in a familiar environment. Through strong partnerships with local school districts and community organizations, High School Programs promote equitable access to higher education and career pathways, preparing students for successful transitions to college and beyond.
