As a Program Officer in the Global Philanthropy function within CR, you will lead strategies at a market level in the South U.S. This includes designing and executing philanthropic strategies aligned to the firm's business objectives, developing and managing a grant portfolio, and establishing external relationships to advance strategic priorities. The Program Officer will report to the Regional Executive for the U.S. South Region.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
8+ years of relevant work experience in program development, implementation, strategy, and/or policy in nonprofit, corporate, and/or government environment
Passion for Global Philanthropy's mission; deep knowledge of and experience in economic inclusion, with a focus on issues related to financial health, employment and labor markets, affordable housing and neighborhood development, and small business and entrepreneurship
Demonstrated ability to think strategically about solving structural issues, as well as program design and implementation
Understanding of grant making and the nonprofit sector; ability to assess track record and capacity of nonprofit organizations
Excellent relationship management and people skills; ability to communicate (verbal and written) complex ideas and professional perspective to diverse audiences
Creative, flexible, and collaborative with an ability to work in a team-oriented environment
Demonstrate a high-degree of initiative; results-oriented
Bachelor's degree required
