Program Manager

Project Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Cyber Program Manager to lead and oversee enterprise IT initiatives within the cybersecurity program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT project/program management, cybersecurity technologies, cloud platforms, and governance frameworks. This role is responsible for ensuring the successful execution of strategic initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, budgets, and resources, and aligning projects with business and technology objectives.

Job Functions & Responsibilities

• Lead and manage cybersecurity and IT projects, ensuring alignment with business and IT strategic goals.
• Define program and project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design effective technology solutions.
• Ensure seamless integration of cybersecurity controls, data protection measures, AI models, cloud platforms, and other critical technologies.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage the RFP process, including issuing bids, evaluating proposals, and selecting appropriate solutions.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to build, test, deploy, and implement project deliverables.
• Communicate program status, risks, issues, and key milestones to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and support project teams while fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment.
• Develop and manage project and program budgets, ensuring effective resource utilization and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards, governance frameworks, and best practices.
• Support the establishment and maturity of AI governance practices and an AI Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Drive continuous process improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery, governance, and operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
• 8 10+ years of IT project/program management experience, with a strong focus on cybersecurity and cloud technologies.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience managing enterprise cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of AI technologies, including large language models, modern data platforms, and AI governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting or working with AI Centers of Excellence is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and team-building skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred.
• Cybersecurity certifications (such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or related certifications) are a plus.
