The School of Architecture and Planning is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Program Manager to support the growing portfolio of research initiatives of our research centers. This position works closely with the Directors and Principal Investigators of the Schools research centers, including:

Design and Planning Assistance Center (DPAC) Indigenous Design and Planning Institute (iDPi) Predock Center for Design and Research (PCDR)

The Program Manager in collaboration with the Schools Faculty Research Support Officer plays a key role in research development, sponsored project administration, program and event coordination, and general operational support. Time will be shared among the research centers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work directly with Center Directors and Principal Investigators on project development and administration of research contracts, grants, and awards. • Assist with proposal preparation. • Prepare budget tracking and reporting for grants and contracts. • Assist with post-award management. • Create proposal checklists and manage agency submission portals. • Communicate with funding agency contacts. • Generate and submit final reports and required documentation.

Program & Event Development:

• Facilitate program and event development for the research centers. • Foster community partnerships and capacity-building initiatives. • Support collaboration among partner consortiums. • Assist with translation of research into practice. • Contribute to talent and workforce development initiatives.

Student Supervision:

• Supervise and oversee student employees. • Support students in managing collaborative research and programmatic projects.

Meetings & Representation:

• Attend on-campus and external meetings and events as needed. • Participate in activities during and outside of regular work hours when required.

General Operations & Support:

• Provide general administrative and staff support for the research centers as needed.
