Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Program Manager for a mission-driven international nonprofit dedicated to expanding workforce development and educational opportunities that empower young people to build successful futures. This is a hybrid opportunity based in New York, New York, with up to four days per week in the office.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Program Manager will play a key role in expanding impactful workforce development and education initiatives across the United States. This position will oversee program implementation, strengthen partnerships, manage project execution and reporting, and help ensure high-quality outcomes for youth-serving initiatives. The ideal candidate is an organized, collaborative leader with experience managing complex programs and building relationships across nonprofit, corporate, and community sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of workforce development and education programs, ensuring successful implementation, partner engagement, and achievement of program goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with nonprofit, corporate, government, and community partners while supporting pilot initiatives and new program launches.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to ensure program effectiveness and responsible stewardship of funding.
  • Develop training materials, toolkits, and resources while promoting best practices, safeguarding principles, and continuous program improvement.
  • Support funding proposals, program communications, stakeholder engagement, and organizational representation at meetings and events.
  • Monitor emerging trends and opportunities in workforce development and youth programming to strengthen and expand organizational impact.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience managing workforce development, education, or youth-focused programs with demonstrated success overseeing multiple projects and partnerships.
  • Strong project management, organizational, budgeting, and reporting skills with experience tracking outcomes and measuring program impact.
  • Knowledge of workforce development, employability, entrepreneurship, or youth development programs, including safeguarding and evaluation best practices.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel throughout the United States as needed.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
