Emplify Health is seeking a Program Manager, Medical/Surgical Specialties to partner with clinical and operational leaders to support the business, financial, and strategic initiatives of our Medical/Surgical Specialty departments.
In this role, you'll collaborate with Clinical Operations Directors and Clinical Managers. The Program Manager will provide financial performance oversight and analysis of all retail operations, including hearing aid supplies and skincare products. This professional will provide project management, develop financial forecasts for new programs or services and support new service evaluations with market research.
The Program Manager will be responsible for identification of operational efficiencies and development of budgets in the business lines. This professional will continuously improve and monitor the balance scorecards that is shared regularly with medical leadership and staff. The Program Manager is responsible for collaborating with Marketing department on initiatives, initiating and overseeing quality improvement projects, including but not limited to patient and customer satisfaction.

Major Responsibilities Include:
Responsible for the business functions of the Medical/Surgical Specialty departments.
Responsible for the retail business functions of the Medical/Surgical Specialty departments.
Provide financial performance oversight and analysis of all nine departments.
Provide department project management, develop financial forecasts for new programs or services.
Collaborate with Clinical Operations Directors and Clinical Mangers on department strategic planning, conducts internal and external scans.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and development of budgets.
Responsible for event planning and external vendor partnership.
Collaborates with Marketing department while implementing business initiatives.
Coordinates issues related to FTE budget, position control, payroll, timekeeping, assures staff compliance with training, education, and licensure data, in cooperation with the Clinical Managers.
Responsible for initiating and overseeing quality improvement projects.
Develop systems for financial analysis, variance reporting, benchmarking to enhance efficiency and planning.
Completes business case analysis and return on investment for projects and programs as well as additional staff due to process change and/or growth.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, Emplify Health policy and procedures, standard practice guidelines, and standards of care.
Ensures compliance with CLIA lab regulatory requirements.
Work with Gundersen Medical Foundation on grants.
What's Available:
1.0 FTE
Schedule: Monday-Friday Days typically 8:00am-5:00pm
Location: Onsite in La Crosse, WI Main Campus with some occasional support in Onalaska
Compensation: Starting at $74,000 with opportunity for higher pay based on relevant work experience
What You'll Need:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance or a related field
Experience: 3-4 years of experience in healthcare
Strong analytical, financial, and project management skills.
Ability to influence and collaborate across multiple departments and stakeholder groups.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work onsite in La Crosse, WI required
