Provides program management for the day-to-day execution of K-12 and workforce pathway programs, overseeing operations, logistics, and program timelines while ensuring compliance with Cleveland State University (CSU) policies and procedures. Coordinates with school districts, community partners, and internal stakeholders; tracks program milestones and outcomes; supports internships and camps; and prepares documentation and reports to support evaluation, accountability, and Director-level briefings. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferably in education, business administration, nonprofit management, project management, or a related field.
- Two (2) years of professional experience supporting or coordinating projects or programs, preferably in education, STEM, workforce development, or youth programming.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in education, business administration, nonprofit management, project management, or a related field.
- Experience in K-12 or STEM‑focused educational programming and partnering with urban school districts.
- Experience with procurement or budgeting processes in the public sector and supporting grant‑funded, multi‑organization initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Knowledge of project and program and program management principles, including planning, scheduling, milestone tracking, and coordinator of multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Knowledge of operational and administrative processes supporting education or workforce programs, including event coordinator, participant logistics, and documentation requirements.
- Skilled in communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including K-12 partners, community organizations, industry partners, and cross-functional CSU teams.
- Ability to manage procurement financial support activities, including vendor coordination, budget, tracking, and compliance with CSU policies and procedures, preferably within a public or higher education environment.
- Ability to maintain accuracy, meet deadlines, and manage complex projects with shifting priorities.
- Ability to maintain accurate records, prepare reports and presentations, and organize project information to support accountability, evaluation, and leadership decision-making.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
