Position OverviewThe Program Manager is responsible for the execution of all aspects of the program from quote stage to delivery ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with technical and contractual requirements, schedules and budgets. Programs may reside in the Military, Industrial or Medical market segments and include circuit cards, cable harnesses or metals. The Program Manager is the focal point for the company for all communications with the customer (internal / external) and is responsible to ensure customer requirements are flowed down to all functional departments. The Program Manager proactively directs and manages customer needs which may include purchasing, engineering, quality, manufacturing and administrative functional areas.Program Manager Accountabilities:Sales Order, Planning and Management:Oversee all sales order types including 20 and 30 series for production orders, 40 and 50 series for customer returns, 60 series for materials sales and 70 and 90 series for NRE orders.Oversee IEC's Sales Order Entry procedure, the individual will oversee and manage all customer purchase orders in to the IEC Central System after verifying proper quantity, part number and pricing complianceProvide coordination among Planning, Buying, Engineering to allow on-time release of work ordersEnsure the support of loading purchase orders in a timely mannerQuoting:Monitor quote log to ensure data input accuracyExtract data from quote log to generate reports to aid with strategic salesFollow up with customers on estimatesCustomer Service:Understand customer requests and manage pricing, order entry, manufacturing, and shipment of all products to satisfy the customerSurvey customers quarterly to assess customer satisfaction level; take appropriate actions to improve satisfaction levelMaintain customer relationships by answering questions with speed, accuracy, and courtesyManage database records and maintain status reports on customer service issuesWork with management and sales to improve customer servicesAdministration:Keep in line with company's accredited certifications and safety policyProvide leadership to staff to encourage problem solvingData entry, expedites, de-expedites, cancellations, BOM updates, PD updatesResults and MeasuresOND Inventory measured in %Value add opportunities measured in $Aging A/R measured in $Customer satisfaction surveys measured by score in each category (quality, delivery, quoting, customer service, overall value)OTD to customer promise datesCritical Success Factors (see Master List for definitions)Customer FocusTime ManagementCommunicationInitiativePlanning & OrganizingTeam WorkPosition Qualifications:Minimum Education: Bachelor's degreeMinimum Experience: 3-5 years experienceCertifications: PMP preferredOther Skills/Knowledge/Experience:Must possess outstanding communication skills, both verbally and in writingComputer Skills:Intermediate Microsoft Word skills as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic functions as well as create moderately complex documents containing tables and graphs, and ability to mail merge documents, apply page setup functions (margins, page numbers, footers, headers), create an index and/or table of contents, use search & replace, print labels and envelopesIntermediate Microsoft Excel skills as evidenced by the ability to perform all of the basic functions as well as the ability to use workbooks, link data, create and edit charts, change page orientation, add headers and footers, filter and sort lists, format data, insert rows, enter and sort data and produce graphs and chartsIntermediate Microsoft Powerpoint skills as evidenced by the ability to create and save a presentation, add titles, edit and delete slides, reordering slides, applying slide masters, checking spelling, and adding clip artIntermediate Microsoft Project skills as evidenced by the ability to create and save a project files, add tasks, edit and delete dependencies, generate timelines, define resources, create and generate gantt charts.Physical Activity Requirements:Work Environment: Office environment where the noise level is generally quiet to moderately noisyWork Position: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking aroundBody Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, reach, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawlWeight Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbsSensory Requirements: Vision, speech, hearing, smell and touch are routinely used in day to day functionsTravel Requirements:Ability to travel up to 25% of year to support customer meetings and program reviewsCreation Technologies will require all new hires to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 by their start date, unless they have anapprovedexemption.
