    Delta Flight Operations is seeking a Program Leader to join the EFB (Pilot iPad) Hardware & Platform team. This role is responsible for the lifecycle management of the technologies that power Delta's Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) ecosystem, including mobile hardware, mobile device management, supporting applications, connectivity, and aircraft-integrated EFB solutions. You'll collaborate across Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, IT, aircraft manufacturers, and strategic technology partners to deliver innovative solutions that improve pilot efficiency, operational reliability, and the overall flight deck experience.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead iPadOS lifecycle management for the Flight Operations Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) fleet by coordinating application validation, operating system testing, release readiness, deployment planning, and cross-functional implementation activities.
    • Support the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Workspace ONE Mobile Device Management (MDM) environment supporting the Flight Operations EFB fleet.
    • Partner with Flight Operations, Technical Operations, Engineering, IT, Apple, Omnissa, T-Mobile, aircraft manufacturers, and other strategic vendors to deliver reliable EFB hardware and platform solutions.
    • Serve as Product Owner for assigned Flight Operations platform applications by gathering business requirements, prioritizing enhancements, coordinating software releases, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Own the lifecycle of SkyDock and other aircraft-integrated EFB hardware solutions, leading maintenance, enhancements, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Evaluate and implement emerging aircraft integration technologies, including Aircraft Interface Devices (AIDs), to enhance EFB capabilities and improve pilot operations.
    • Coordinate aircraft and ground connectivity initiatives supporting the EFB ecosystem, including cellular and inflight connectivity technologies.
    • Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions that improve pilot productivity, operational efficiency, and the Electronic Flight Bag ecosystem.
    • Lead small and large cross-functional projects supporting Flight Operations hardware and platform initiatives from planning through implementation while effectively managing scope, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communications.
    • Develop pilot training materials, operational procedures, and communications supporting EFB hardware, platform technologies, and related operational processes.
    • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that provide visibility into the Flight Operations EFB Hardware & Platform portfolio. Analyze operational data to identify trends, forecast demand, measure program performance, and deliver actionable insights to Flight Operations leadership.
    • Support lifecycle management, inventory oversight, configuration management, and operational readiness of pilot EFB hardware and associated accessories.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Aviation, Information Systems, Business, or equivalent work experience.
    • Experience managing technical products, programs, or projects in a complex operational environment.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and communicate operational data.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
    • Ability to communicate complex technical and operational information effectively to technical, operational, and executive audiences.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Demonstrated commitment to Delta's safety culture and operational excellence.
    • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.
    • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.
    • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
    • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

    What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

    • Experience in aviation operations, aircraft maintenance, avionics, aircraft technology, or another aviation technical discipline.
    • Experience working on or around commercial aircraft, flight deck systems, or aircraft-installed equipment.
    • Experience with Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) programs, aviation mobile technology, or aircraft-integrated technologies.
