Major/Essential Functions

Recruitment & Visitor Engagement / Strategy & Outreach (35%)

  • Lead coordination of the CHHS Recruitment and Visitor Center
  • Manage campus visits, information sessions, and customized recruitment experiences
  • Serve as primary contact for prospective students, families, and guests
  • Develop and implement recruitment and communication strategies
  • Coordinate outreach efforts, recruitment fairs, and engagement initiatives
  • Collaborate with academic departments, Student Services staff, and ambassadors

Administrative, Data, Compliance & Support (25%)

  • Perform administrative office duties including data entry, scheduling, correspondence, and office operations
  • Process travel, P-Cards, reimbursements, vouchers, and purchase orders in compliance with university and State of Texas policies
  • Monitor recruitment data and prospect records to support enrollment tracking and reporting
  • Evaluate effectiveness of recruitment initiatives and recommend improvements
  • Complete required university training and comply with institutional policies and procedures
  • Support a collaborative, student-centered work environment

Events & Programs (15%)

  • Coordinate major college events and programs, including CHHS Day, Graduation Celebration, awards, receptions, and showcases
  • Manage event logistics, planning, compliance, and post-event evaluation

Ambassador & Leadership Programs (10%)

  • Serve as Co-Advisor for the CHHS Ambassadors program
  • Support recruitment, training, scheduling, and leadership development
  • Assist with Dean’s Leadership Council coordination

Scholarships & Communications (10%)

  • Coordinate scholarship communications, donor and student correspondence, and documentation
  • Support Merit Scholarship Program administration and reporting

Newsletter & Communications Coordination (5%)

  • Manage the CHHS “Enhance” newsletter in collaboration with Marketing & Communications
  • Collect and distribute updates on student success, events, and college initiatives
