Compensation: $150,000 - $165,000 / year

Description

Why should you join our success story?Â

Based on patented technology developed at MIT, Harvard Medical School and by the Company, Myomo develops and markets the MyoPro product line of lightweight, non-invasive, powered arm braces (orthoses) to restore function in paralyzed or weakened arms and hands of individuals that have suffered a stroke, spinal cord, or nerve injury. (E.g. brachial plexus injury or other neuro-muscular disabilities.) It is the only device that, sensing a patientâs own neurological signals through non-invasive wearable sensors, can restore the ability to use their arms and hands so that they can live independently, increase their quality of life, reduce cost of care, and return to work. Published clinical research shows a clinically significant instantaneous reduction in upper extremity impairment with the MyoPro. Our technology has been referred by leading-edge rehabilitation facilities including Mayo Clinic, Kennedy Krieger Institute, Cleveland Clinic, Loma Linda Medical Center, Massachusetts General Hospital, numerous VA Hospitals, and more. Myomo is headquartered in Burlington, Massachusetts, with sales and clinical professionals across the U.S.

What weâre looking for:

The Program Manager plays a critical leadership role in the development and commercialization of the next generation of Myomoâs flagship product platform. This role is responsible for driving complex cross-

functional hardware and software development efforts through Myomoâs design controls process, ensuring high-quality product delivery on time and within budget.

This position requires enthusiastic leadership in a highly technical medical device product development environment. The Program Manager will regularly collaborate with all functions and levels of the organization, including R&D engineers, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing/Operations, Marketing, Sales, and Executive Management to drive alignment, execution, risk management, and strategic decision-making throughout the product lifecycle.

The ideal candidate excels at leading complex, multidisciplinary development initiatives and brings both

operational discipline and continuous improvement to program execution. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, technical problem-solving capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to navigate organizational and technical complexity while advancing a mission-critical product platform.

How You'll Drive Impact:

  • Lead cross-functional development activities supporting Myomoâs next generation flagship electro-mechanical orthotic product platform through all phases of the product lifecycle.
  • Drive execution across complex hardware and software development efforts, balancing technical trade-offs, risk mitigation, resource constraints, and regulatory requirements, while prioritizing

business objectives.

  • Partner closely with the Director of Project & Product Management to ensure programs are

appropriately staffed and resourced for successful execution.

  • Coordinate and align cross-functional teams including Engineering, Clinical, Manufacturing/Operations, Marketing, Sales, Quality, and Regulatory to achieve program objectives and business milestones.
  • Own integrated program planning, timelines, resource coordination, budget tracking, and risk

management for product development initiatives.

  • Lead program execution through Myomoâs phase-gate and design controls processes, ensuring

compliance with applicable quality and regulatory requirements.

  • Facilitate effective communication, decision-making, and accountability across all levels of the

organization, including Executive Management.

  • Partner with Product Management to translate customer, clinical, and business needs into actionable product development priorities and execution plans.Â
  • Ensure Manufacturing is actively engaged throughout development to support design for manufacturability, production readiness, and successful product commercialization.Â
  • Identify program risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively resolve technical and operational challenges impacting execution.
  • Provide regular program status updates, key metrics, risks, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to program execution, cross-functional collaboration, and product development processes.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelorâs degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Mechanical or Electrical/Software) or life sciences (Biology, Chemistry) preferred, or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience working as a Project Manager developing products. (i.e.: Experience leading

and managing programs, directing cross-functional resources, planning, scheduling, budget maintenance, and risk mitigation)

  • 5+ years managing projects within medical device, biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries

preferred. Other industry backgrounds may be considered, especially if regulated.

  • Ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple workstreams and work independently with

minimal supervision.

  • Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication and organizational skills.
  • 3+ years working in a product development environment. (Desirable)
  • 3+ years working with electromechanical systems. (Desirable)
  • PMP Certification. (Desirable)
