Stipend position - 10 hrs/week
Description:
Program Instructors provide instruction and training for all ages and abilities of students. They may work at a variety of levels teaching different skills to either individuals or groups. We are looking for an Assistant Artistic Director, designated as 0.25 Assistant Director, in a supporting the summer theater program across all aspects of the Mid/High School Summer musical production and the Elementary Summer musical production.
Job Summary:
Develop skills and abilities necessary to carry out assigned duties by attending meetings, in-service training, and other opportunities when scheduled.
Complete tasks assigned.
Attend all required staff meetings.
Qualifications:
Must possess subject matter expertise in instructional area; Theater/Drama background
Must have good organizational skills and demonstrate dependability, promptness, and punctuality.
Strong interest and experience in musical theatre (performance or technical).
Must be able to work independently, be enthusiastic, and take initiative.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively on a team and commit to the full program schedule.
