CHRISTIAN PURPOSE AND EXPECTATIONS:
All employees proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through their employment, and thereby further BGEA’s religious mission.
Department Detail –The Program department offers seminars and other public, staff-programmed events that align with the mission of BGTC. The department schedules speakers, emcees, pastors-in-residence, worship leaders and musical artists to enhance each attendee’s experience. It produces event-related collateral material for each event, negotiates agreements with all event platform and support staff and provides accurate reports at the close of each event. The department also conducts strategic planning to meet the operational goals of BGTC.
Job Summary –This position coordinates and communicates event details for seminars and special ministry events, provides administrative assistance for seminar Worship Leaders, Artists, Emcees, and Pastors-in-Residence, and administrative support for the Program Manager.
Ministry Requirements
- Maintains a personal, active relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ

- Participates in daily BGEA staff devotions including Bible reading, and leading group prayer as schedule permits
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with BGEA’s Mission Statement, Statement of Faith, Hallmarks, policies, and expectations
- Effectively represents Jesus Christ to those within both personal and professional spheres of influence
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and administers programming elements for Cove-sponsored seminars, retreats, Intensive Bible Trainings, Guided Personal Spiritual Retreats, senior events, concerts, and other special events as directed, with the exception of women’s day-events
- Serves as the Program Department primary point-of-contact and administrative support for emcees, worship leaders, artists, Pastors-In-Residence and Chaplains, including requesting honoraria and processing expense reports
- Coordinates travel arrangements for worship leaders and artists
- Administers the program event daily schedule, and uploads it to The Cove website
- Prepares and processes artist, worship leader and emcee bios and photos
- Assists the Program Manager in planning and organizing the annual emcee and Pastor-In-Residence/chaplain training
- Clearly communicates programming needs, facility-wide, for each event, including facility set-up and collateral materials
- Arranges seating assignments for all “An Evening at The Cove” and “Christmas at The Cove” concert events, in conjunction with the Reservations and Guest Services departments

Job Specifications
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience, required
- Excellent computer and software skills, with particular strength in Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Typing skills with accuracy in spelling, grammar, and number tabulations
- Excellent organizational skills, with strong attention to detail
- Ability to relate to people well, being approachable, as well as have the ability to manage administrative tasks simultaneously
- Experience in the use of, or ability to learn, Visual One software, and uploading web documents
- Basic knowledge of budget preparation and administration

- We believe God wonderfully and immutably creates each person a biological male or female. These two distinct, but complementary sexes together reflect the image and likeness of God. Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of God’s merciful design and creative order. (Genesis 1:26-27; Mark 10:6; 1 Corinthians 6:9; Deuteronomy 22:5).
