Your primary responsibilities will include managing technical interfaces to secure programs and providing exceptional aftermarket support for our clients. This encompasses new product development and the qualification and certification of products in the aviation sector, including cockpit avionics, power conversion equipment, and battery systems.Responsibilities Collaborate closely with sales account managers to finalize new product development and oversee qualification and certification programs.Act as a technical liaison between engineering teams and customers, showcasing your product expertise in functions, features, qualifications, and capabilities.Create, collect, consolidate, and summarize technical data to meet various customer requirements and deliverables.Drive projects toward meeting company and engineering targets in terms of time, costs, and requirements.Support sales initiatives by reviewing proposal requirements and evaluating compliance.Work with engineering project managers and teams to monitor progress and communicate status updates to sales account managers and customers.Qualifications Must be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field.A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in the aviation field.Strong program/project management skills.Understanding or experience with electrical and electromechanical products.Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and a results-oriented mindset.Strong problem-solving abilities, critical thinking, and prioritization skills.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Preferred (Not Mandatory) Familiarity with aviation certification processes such as Type Certificate and Supplemental Type Certificates.Knowledge of aviation standards including RTCA/DO 160, DO 178, DO 254, MIL STD 810, and MIL STD 461.Benefits Competitive pay within the advertised range of $80,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually.Comprehensive benefits package.Work-life balance in a professional, light manufacturing environment.Location: Wichita, KS.
