Job Purpose:
- The Director of Program Services at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of high-quality behavioral health services. The role involves strategic planning, program development, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to enhance the well-being of clients and support the organization's mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of program strategies to meet the needs of clients and align with organizational goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of program services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to develop and maintain quality standards and protocols.
- Monitor and evaluate program performance, utilizing data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, licensing requirements, and accreditation standards.
- Manage program budgets, resources, and staff to optimize service delivery and financial performance.
- Foster partnerships with community organizations, stakeholders, and funding bodies to enhance service offerings and support.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to program managers and staff, promoting a culture of excellence and professional development.
- Report to senior management on program outcomes, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
Required Education:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Required Experience:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in behavioral health services, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience in budgeting, financial management, and strategic planning within a healthcare environment.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff, clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform program development and improvements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the behavioral health sector.
- Proficiency in using healthcare management software and technology for program tracking and reporting.
