    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the strategic and operational leadership of all financial functions within University Health Services (UHS), including oversight of business office operations, healthcare revenue cycle management, Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) financial operations, budgeting, and compliance. Ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial processes that support clinical operations and organizational sustainability. Serves as a key member of the UHS leadership team with direct accountability for financial performance, internal controls, and operational alignment.
    • Leads and oversees all financial operations within UHS, including but not limited to healthcare billing, revenue cycle processes, claims management, insurance payments, and financial reporting. Ensures accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of all financial transactions. Maintains oversight of SHIP financial processes, including but not limited to reconciliation, adjustments, and disbursements.
    • Directs development and management of the UHS annual operating budget and multi-year financial planning, including forecasting revenue, expenses, and staffing needs.
    • Provides direct supervision and leadership to Business Office staff, ensuring clear expectations, accountability, and measurable performance outcomes.

    Qualifications

    Bachelors degree and six years experience related to budget, financial and/or accounting services or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to ten years in the same.
