Primary Responsibility:

Provide administrative support for the College of Leadership and Public Service while working under the direct supervision of the Manager of Budgets and Administration.  Work will involve primarily the undergraduate programs:  Fred D. Gray Institute for Law, Justice and Society and Environmental and Sustainability Science.

 Education requirement:  Bachelor's Degree preferred not required based on experience

 Experience: 1 to 3 years

 Candidate should have the following:

Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Mac Computer or PC (Windows)

Positive and helpful attitude to meet the appropriate requests of professors, students, and other supporters of the college

Willing to become proficient in university software

 Description of Tasks Performed

* Maintain and monitor expenditures within business office guidelines including visa expenses and processing of invoices. Will need to keep spending reports for travel courses.

* Input classes in the campus software program and make sure the classroom assigned

* Work with Directors to make sure all required textbooks are entered on bookstore software

* Learn and provide help with the Fred Gray room technology and keep the room in working order.

* Follow through on graduation verification forms

* Check accuracy of graduation program for undergraduate COLPS students

* Work with LJS director to understand the logistics of the travel courses to Washington, DC and Europe. Execute all details including transportation, lodging and meals.  Could have opportunity to travel to DC with the class.

* Collect and report data for the College under the direction of the Dean through appropriate software

* Maintain a calendar/schedule and work with other areas on campus and within our college for use of the Fred Gray room.

* Assist directors in maintaining a record of alumni contact information

* Complete academic catalog revisions for the college annually

* Perform general office support duties including answering phones, answering emails, greeting visitors, mail pickup and sorting, understanding office equipment including printer/copier, and purchasing office supplies

* Keep supply room organized

* Assist with academic and community events involving the College of Leadership and Public   Service

* Assist in the day-to-day operations as needed

* Other duties as assigned
