The Program Coordinator will enhance outreach and coordination of mental health and substance disorders prevention work throughout campus. The Program Coordinator will also work with the Behavioral Health Coalition (BHC) and other community partners to develop better ways to serve students with trauma and severe mental health disorders, as well as those needing outpatient care support. In addition, the Program Coordinator will partner with the BHC to develop training for campus and community partners focused on the mental health and substance abuse needs of vulnerable and underrepresented populations. The Program Coordinator will also support work on amplifying awareness of and access to prevention work on power-based violence and substance use.
This is a grant-funded, 12-month, exempt position reporting to the Director of Student Health and Wellbeing in the Chesley Health and Wellness Center. The position's core work will be on-campus, with regular travel to connect with community partners.
