Job Summary:
Provide program coordination and management for the Medical Massage Therapy program, including staffing, facility and resource/equipment management and inventory control, program promotion, accreditation preparation and compliance, curriculum development and revision, course instruction, instructor evaluation, clinical site management, student and application management, and compliance with state regulations.

Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly having to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for the Sedentary Work category and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated Light Work. Positions in this class typically include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, standing, walking and repetitive motions, plus stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Relatively free from unpleasant environmental conditions or hazards. Office environment. Occasional physical effort required.
Requirements
Associate degree in a related field from an accredited institution is required.
Five (5) years of experience as a licensed massage therapist is required.
Two (2) years of supervisory experience.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited institution
Two (2) years of experience in a medical setting
Licenses and Certifications
Current active licensure as a massage therapy instructor in the State of Texas.
