Position Summary
The Meyer Cancer Center (MCC) Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (OCOE) at Weill Cornell Medicine has a mission to meaningfully engage the communities served by the Meyer Cancer Center to help reduce the burden of lung cancer and lung cancer disparities within our catchment area and beyond.
The OCOE seeks a part-time program coordinator (up to 20 hours/week) to support lung cancer education programs that will have a direct impact on lung cancer prevention and control among high-priority neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Queens, and Manhattan. The Program Coordinator will work closely with OCOE staff, radiology, pulmonology, and medicine departments, and community-based organizations to develop, manage, and evaluate education and outreach that address lung cancer prevention, screening, and control. The coordinator will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with community-based organizations. This role will be an integral part of the OCOE team, collaborating with leadership, staff, and external contacts.
