The Office of Grants and Research (OGR) is the state administering agency for federal funds received from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Department of Justice. OGR also administers millions in state criminal justice funding received from the Massachusetts legislature. This Program Coordinator II position is being offered to support the grant administrative projects assigned to the homeland security team within the OGR. Such individual will ensure that funds are disseminated as approved by the federal government, provide programmatic and technical support as needed to subrecipients and other relevant grant administrative tasks so that all deliverables are accomplished.
Please note, the OGR reserves the right to assign staff to where the work resides; either within the division one is placed when hired or to another division that has a greater need.

MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full time, or equivalent part-time, professional, administrative or managerial experience in business administration, business management or public administration the major duties of which involved program management, program administration, program coordination, program planning and/or program analysis, or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. A Bachelor''s degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the-required experience.*
II. A Graduate degree with a major in business administration, business management or public administration may be substituted for the required experience.*
