General Function
The Nursing Assistant Program Assistant provides clerical, administrative, and program coordination support for the Nursing Assistant program within Health Sciences. This position supports student onboarding and progression, tracks compliance and required documentation, maintains student and program records, coordinates schedules and communication, and serves as a key point of contact for students, faculty, and internal partners. May assist in other CE program areas as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day clerical and administrative support for the Nursing Assistant (NAS) program. May assist the CE coordinator or CE administrative Assistant with other CE programs as needed
Track and maintain student records related to admissions, onboarding, attendance, clinical eligibility, and program completion.
Accurately enter, update, and maintain student and program data in college systems.
Serve as a primary point of contact for NAS students, faculty, and staff.
Assist with student orientation and onboarding activities.
Assist with scheduling classes, labs, orientations, and related program activities.
Generate routine reports related to enrollment, compliance status, and attendance.
Collaborate with NAS faculty, department leadership, and Health Sciences staff.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience in clerical or administrative support roles
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree
Experience supporting academic or healthcare programs
