Supporting students with toileting & feeding needs; some students may require physical transfers; supporting instruction and implementing programs/lesson plans created by the special education teacher; escorting students to and from pick up/drop off locations during arrival and dismissal; supporting behavior plans as directed by BCBA and/or classroom teacher.
Salary - $30,985 pro-rated
QUALIFICATIONS: • High school diploma required with associates degree or higher preferred • Experience working with children/students • Experience assisting in program implementation • Ability to work with professional staff
OUTSTANDING QUALIFICATIONS: Outstanding preparation and/or experience may be substituted for some of the above qualifications.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support students with disabilities in inclusive and substantially separate settings • Needs to assist with a behavior plan implementation • Provide academic support as needed • May need to support feeding and toileting needs • Monitoring for attention, work completion and social navigation • Perform duties as assigned by school administration • Other duties as assigned by the classroom teacher
