  • Maintain and track inventory of explosives, equipment, tools, and production materials, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.

  • Monitor inventory levels, coordinate reorders, and conduct routine audits of physical stock.

  • Work with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure safe storage, handling, and transportation of materials in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.

  • Project Tracking and Coordination:

  • Maintain comprehensive project schedules and track milestones, deliverables, and resource utilization across all explosives testing and production support efforts.

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, flagging potential risks or delays to the program manager.

  • Provide status updates and reports on schedules, costs, and inventory to internal and external stakeholders.

  • Testing Support:

  • Coordinate the preparation and logistics for explosives testing operations, including arranging equipment, materials, personnel, and safety documentation.

  • Support on-site testing activities by managing inventory needs, documenting test setup, and preparing pre- and post-test administrative reports.

  • Administrative Support:

  • Organize meetings, generate agendas, and take detailed notes for key activities related to explosives testing and production.

  • Document and track safety protocols, including those related to the storage, handling, and transportation of classified or hazardous materials.

  • Manage communication channels across internal teams (engineering, logistics, safety) and vendors to ensure program alignment.

  • Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and federal/state regulatory compliance for handling and testing explosives and related materials.

  • Maintain accurate records for audits, certifications, training, and safety compliance related to testing environments.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor''s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field (relevant work experience may be substituted for degree).

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, including project coordination, inventory management, or administrative operations.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, Primavera) and standard office applications (Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Experience with inventory management tools and software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or equivalent).

  • Familiarity with government or DoD processes, regulations, and reporting standards.

  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with explosives management, safety policies, or testing/logistics procedures.

  • Knowledge of ATF, DOT, and ITAR compliance requirements as they apply to the handling and transport of explosives or hazardous materials.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production tracking systems/ERP software.

  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols for explosives production and testing facilities.

  • Experience working within a classified or cleared environment is a plus.

  • Strong technical writing skills for reports, presentations, and risk documentation.
