Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
Knowledge of educational requirements, instructional/evaluation methods, and the ability to design, develop, and present graduate-level curriculum to senior leadership.
Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and facilitate educational wargames and experiential curricula within a professional military education environment.
Knowledge of diverse research methodologies with the ability to conduct, lead, and publish original scholarship (discovery, integration, application) and advise student research.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, exercise peer leadership among graduate-level faculty, and collaborate effectively with senior military and academic leadership on program development and administration.
Advanced skills in written and oral communication to effectively brief, lecture, and publish for a wide variety of civilian and military audiences, including Air Force and DoD agencies.
Additional Qualifications:
Education
A Masters Degree in Military History or a related field with a focus on Military Planning or Operations, is required. A PhD is highly desired and advanced doctoral students are encouraged to apply.

The position will be an initial three-year appointment with a one-year probationary period, with the potential for continued reappointment for additional 1-5 year terms. This position is subject to Air Universitys tenure and promotion policy, this position is tenure-track eligible.
