Department: COM | Neurosurgery Faculty Department''s Website: Summary of Job Duties: The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Medicine, Department of Neurosurgery is seeking a highly skilled, board-eligible or board-certified Neurosurgeon to join our academic faculty. This position offers the opportunity to provide advanced neurosurgical care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment while contributing to education, research, and innovation. The successful candidate will work alongside nationally recognized faculty, participate in resident and medical student education, and help advance the department''s clinical, academic, and research missions. Qualifications: Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO), or equivalent. Completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurosurgery Residency (or equivalent training). Board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery (ABNS) or equivalent. Eligible for or currently licensed to practice medicine in the State of Arkansas. Demonstrated commitment to excellence in patient care and academic medicine. Preferred Qualifications Fellowship training in a neurosurgical subspecialty (as applicable). Experience in an academic medical center. Strong clinical and surgical skills across a broad range of neurosurgical procedures. Record of clinical, translational, or basic science research.
