The Department of English at Texas State University seeks a Professor in Poetry to join its nationally recognized MFA Program in Creative Writing. Required Qualifications

  • MFA in creative writing.
  • A minimum of five books of poetry published by a peer-reviewed press.
  • At least three national awards recognizing distinguished contribution to the field of poetry.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching graduate-level creative writing workshops.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience teaching graduate-level creative writing workshops.
