Brief Job Overview/Summary
This position is a grant-funded, part-time position that will conclude on September 29, 2026. Continuation of the role beyond this date is contingent upon the renewal of grant funding. This position will focus on building Stockton's Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) through program development and research, 1:1 and group support services, and collaborations with campus partners and community organizations to build a strong community of connection and belonging.
The CRP Program Coordinator is an essential member of the Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) multi-disciplinary mental health service offering preventive education, clinical assessment/evaluation, training and consultation, intervention, recovery support, case management and referral, and collaboration with other professionals and campus constituents to address substance use related concerns with the Stockton University student population.
The CRP Coordinator will assist individuals with substance use disorder by serving as a role model, advocate, and motivator. Through lived experience and training, the CRP Coordinator will provide non-clinical individual and group support to develop a robust recovery community within Stockton University. After-hours and weekend responsibilities may be required.
This position is part of a supportive recovery network that promotes abstinence, support, and fellowship. This position will report directly to the Director of Counseling and Psychological Services.
