Healing Arts Veterinary Center is excited to welcome an experienced Pet Groomer to our growing veterinary support team. As a full-service animal hospital, we provide comprehensive medical care alongside professional grooming services, all while delivering exceptional client and patient experiences.

Our hospital features a dedicated, state-of-the-art grooming facility, giving groomers the autonomy to manage their schedule, build lasting client relationships, and take pride in their craft—all while being supported by a collaborative veterinary team.

Qualifications

• Professional grooming experience required (all breeds & coat types)
• Knowledge of breed-specific grooming standards
• Ability to safely handle pets of varying sizes and temperaments
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Grooming certification is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full grooming services including bathing, drying, haircuts/styling, brush-outs, nail trims, de-matting, ear cleaning, and gland expression
• Evaluate each pet’s coat and skin condition and communicate grooming recommendations to pet owners
• Engage with clients to understand grooming preferences and expectations
• Safely handle pets of various sizes and temperaments during grooming procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized grooming area throughout the day and at the end of each shift

• Compensation: Hourly base pay + 50% commission on grooming services, plus 100% of tips*
