The Professional Manager leads a supported living home and the team that makes independence possible for the individual served.
This role combines leadership, advocacy, and coordination. You will guide staff, support individuals in achieving their goals, and ensure services meet state standards and agency expectations.

Team Leadership
Supervise and coach Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)
Model and teach BSL's core values
Monitor team performance and provide feedback and support
Address attendance, accountability, and performance issues
Individual Support & Care Coordination
Understand and implement the individual's ISP, medical, and behavioral plans
Coordinate services with families, guardians, and healthcare providers
Ensure individuals receive consistent, person-centered care
Operations & Compliance
Ensure services meet state regulations and agency standards
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Prepare for and participate in service monitoring and inspections
Communication
Maintain strong communication with staff, families, and leadership
Address concerns proactively and ensure continuity of care
Administrative Oversight
Assist with scheduling, budgeting, and household operations
Ensure financial documentation and purchasing procedures are followed
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Services, or related field
(or 4+ years relevant experience)
At least 1 year of supervisory or management experience
At least 1 year working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities
Ability to obtain and maintain Direct Support Professional certification
