About Our Agency:
South Carolina ETV (SCETV) is the states public educational broadcasting network. SCETV amplifies South Carolina voices, provides educational experiences, and strengthens communities while working to create a stronger, more connected, and informed South Carolina. SCETV provides national and local content to classrooms via internet services Knowitall.org and PBS Learning Media. SCETV also provides teacher training and re-certification in face-to-face and online settings.
Job Purpose:
Design and delivers high-quality professional learning experiences that strengthen instructional practice and support effective use of digital resources in K-12 classrooms. Collaborates with schools, districts, and internal teams to develop and implement aligned training and instructional resources within established organizational priorities.
Job Duties:
Design and facilitate professional learning experiences (in-person, virtual, and asynchronous) aligned to program priorities. Develop engaging training sessions focused on instructional best practices, digital resource integration, and effective teaching strategies. Deliver coordinated support to schools and districts in alignment with established plans and leadership direction. Differentiate professional learning based on educator needs, content focus, and program goals. Collect and analyze participant feedback and data to ensure training effectiveness.
Partner with educators, instructional coaches, and district staff to support implementation of professional learning and instructional resources. Provide guidance on effective use of digital tools and instructional materials in classroom settings. Support coordinated outreach and engagement efforts as directed by program leadership. Participate in planned district and school engagements aligned with organizational priorities.
Develop and adapt instructional materials, modules, and training resources that support professional learning initiatives. Contribute to standards-aligned content development for platforms such as KnowItAll.org and related tools. Collaborate with curriculum and content teams to ensure instructional accuracy and alignment.Create classroom-ready resources that reinforce and extend professional learning outcomes.
Support evaluation of professional learning and instructional resources using participation and outcome data. Document training activities, feedback, and implementation outcomes. Contribute to identifying educator needs and recommending improvements to programming and supports.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support program operations and organizational priorities
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A masters degree in education or another directly related field and experience in curriculum development.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Education, Instructional Technology or another directly related field. 3+ years experience delivering professional learning, training, or instructional support. An active South Carolina teaching certificate or teaching certificate that has expired within the last 3 years.
