Overview

The Seats Operations and Dock-to-Delivery team is seeking a Procurement Agent to support airplane delivery targets. This role focuses on managing supply chain operations, mitigating risks around transportation, installation, storage, and rework of seats, and ensuring milestones are achieved without compromising safety or quality.

This is a fast-paced, highly visible position that requires quick decision-making, supplier management, and the ability to drive process improvements across a global supply base.

Key Responsibilities

• Apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to coordinate global supply chain activities.

• Track and manage seat production schedules (installation, certification, customer activities) to meet delivery milestones.

• Place and manage purchase orders in SAP/ERP, ensuring compliance and adherence.

• Report metrics and program status to Seats and Airplane Program leadership.

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to monitor and resolve key performance indicators (KPIs).

• Gather data, analyze results, and publish performance reports.

• Proactively problem-solve issues and implement process improvements.

• Serve as a liaison with suppliers, Engineering, Quality, and internal factories.

Basic Qualifications (Required)

• 1+ years of experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent).

• 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).

• 1+ years of experience in Operations, Materials Management, or Supply Chain in a production environment.

• Willingness to support on-call shifts, including weekends and after hours.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired)

• 3+ years of related work experience, or equivalent education/experience.

• Direct experience working with suppliers.

• Strong track record of interfacing with leadership at multiple levels.

• Participation in continuous process improvement initiatives.

• Ability to make sound decisions with incomplete or evolving information.

Education / Experience

• Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of related experience, OR

• Master's degree plus 1+ year of experience, OR

• 7+ years of related experience in lieu of degree.

• Work Environment: 100% onsite in Charleston, SC

• Training: OJT or formal training required for assignment start

• Clearance: No security clearance required
