It's this collective passion that drives excellence in everything we do.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDirects and/or designs various types of projects including stormwater, flood control and environmental enhancements, calculates and prepares documents for respective projects, including details, schedules and cost estimates for projects, including the selection and application of engineering systems and materials in accordance with the latest governing codes.Prepares and monitors project budgets for moderately complex projects and is responsible for project schedules and timely completion of these projects.Prepares funding applications and preliminary engineer reports.May serve as a designated client contact.Prepares bids or negotiations, including pre‑bid conferences, interpretations and post‑bid evaluations and contract preparation.Stamps or seals work prepared by him/her or under his/her direct supervision.Participates in pre‑project presentations, interviews, and promotions as requested.Responsible for overseeing personnel assigned to projects in which they are the lead engineer.Establishes and maintains cordial and professional working relations with clients and contractors and attends client meetings days or nights.Travels as required for project meetings, client meetings, or to construction sites.Must keep current in job specialty through continuing education.Other duties as assigned.Qualification RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related fieldRegistered as a Professional Engineer in ND or ability to obtain registration within six monthsMinimum of eight years of experience in civil engineeringKnowledge of financing programs is preferredComplete and thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of engineeringAbility to prepare engineering records and to write concise technical reportsEmphasis in stormwater modeling and analysis preferredKeeps current in job specialty through continuing educationAbility to work on several projects simultaneouslyMust have a valid driver's license and be insurableCompany Culture and ValuesRespect means that we honor our co‑workers, appreciate cultural differences and value all viewpoints brought in good faith.Integrity means we remain consistent and honest, and uphold our obligation to the health, safety, and welfare of the people at the center of our work.Accountability means we take responsibility for our actions, to commitments we make, and to our role in creating company success.Loyalty means we are dependable and faithful.
