Professional Development Assistant Professional Development Department Summary The Professional Development Assistant supports the professional development team in all areas of legal talent management including onboarding and orientation career development mentoring professional skills training and other development initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized detail -oriented and passionate about helping others grow professionally. Proven organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint. 1-2 years administrative support experience in a professional setting. Bachelors degree. Duties and Responsibilities Support the Professional Development team with all attorney performance evaluation and professional development processes. Maintain and organize department documents including policies evaluation reports and associate practice group information. Collect and maintain spreadsheet data on associate profiles and associate departures. Assist with tracking evaluation completion and analyzing data for evaluation processes. Schedule lawyer professional development meetings in connection with all evaluation processes. Support onboarding and orientation programs for new associate hires. Assist in developing systems and processes to improve document management and workflow efficiency. Support the coordination and execution of firmwide mentoring and training programs by assisting with participant matching scheduling sessions preparing materials and tracking engagement and outcomes to ensure program effectiveness. Update the Professional Development intranet page. Schedule welcome meetings for incoming associates with Professional Development Managers. Process department budget requests. Duties and Responsibilities continued Provide general administrative support for the Professional Development team as needed including preparing business correspondence and other documents coordinating meetings and travel etc. Special projects as assigned. Uphold high standards of confidentiality discretion and integrity particularly with respect to all sensitive andor confidential firm and client information to which this position will have access. Status Non -Exempt Reports To Professional Development Director - DC and Senior Process Workplace Type Hybrid Salary range of 57000 - 71000 dependent on candidate experience.
