COUNSELOR JOB DESCRIPTION QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling
- Pennsylvania license (LPC or LCSW)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Counseling clinical services:
- Conduct client intake appointments and determine appropriate treatment planning.
- Conduct individual, group (couples and conjoint) counseling with clients to address mental health needs.
- Support a collaborative, trauma-informed, and biblically informed workplace.
- Appropriately document the provision of counseling services.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting for audits and insurance billing.
- Collaborate with outside providers, schools, and community resources to advocate for client needs, coordinate wraparound support, and provide referrals to additional services as needed.
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all records.
- Report to and cooperation with Executive Director/Counselor including attending and participating in staff meetings as called by the Executive Director.
- Attend trainings, workshops, and continuing education to maintain licensure.
