We're looking for a Professional Counselor 4 to service full range of clinical services within the Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) plus two years of licensed counseling experience.

Job Duties and Other Information

Job Duties:

  • Participates in the decision-making process of the treatment team, including formulating therapeutic activities.
  • Serves as a group leader/facilitator in counseling groups made up of persons with substance use disorders.
  • May conduct peer reviews to refine the quality and level of outpatient substance use services provided.
  • Manages caseloads of clients diagnosed with substance abuse issues
