Day Shifts:
Mon-Fri (5:30 AM - 2:00 PM),

Afternoon Shifts:
Mon-Fri (1:30 PM - 10:00 PM)

Night Shifts:
Mon-Fri (9:30 PM - 6:00 AM),


General Summary:
This position will be responsible for working in a variety of functions within the manufacturing and distribution areas, such as stacking/sorting/distributing bulk product and material, hand palletizing, sorting product and raw material management (bottles, caps, corrugate and more).

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible at all times for promoting a safety culture and awareness within their area. Support and adhere to all plant safety policies and procedures at all times.
  2. Assist manufacturing with inspection, sorting and bagging process for bulk product. Remove defects as needed (i.e. deformed, discolored, misshaped, etc.).
  3. Management of bulk product from clean room to the packaging area, sorting/stacking/cleaning trays to be returned to clean room as needed.
  4. Visual sorting and declumping of bulk product prior to packaging process.
  5. Supplying hoppers with bottles, caps and other raw materials as needed.
  6. Supply bottle conveyor for metal detection, capping and induction sealing.
  7. Identify, retrieve and inspect pallets, apply case labels as needed.
  8. Break down of excess corrugate for bailing.
  9. Proper communications protocol with all manufacturing, quality and other operations staff to communicate and escalate product or equipment issues as needed.
  10. Equipment operation to include, but is not limited to: heat tunnel, sealer, check weigher and palletizer.
  11. Ensures all quality and food safety practices are followed at all times.
  12. Assist in line clearance, cleaning and sanitization procedures as needed.
  13. Assist with assembling/building product displays.
  14. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  1. High school diploma or GED required for permanent hire at Church & Dwight Co., Inc.
  2. Must be 18 years of age or older.
  3. Prior manufacturing experience in a GMP environment preferred (food manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, etc.).
  4. 6+ months experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment preferred.
  5. Ability to work mandatory overtime as required.
  6. Ability to successfully complete a Drug Screen and Criminal Background Screen.
  7. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Physical Demands:
  • Light to heavy physical effort required.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to regularly lift 20-30 lbs.
  • Must be able to occasionally push/pull force of up to 50 lbs.
  • Regularly required to walk, stand, reach, and move around machinery.
  • Regular use of hands, wrists, and forearms.
  • Must be able to walk and stand between 8-12 hours/day.
