EHC is looking for a Production Worker for a client in the Houston Area
5:00am-3:30pm
Job Duties :
The Production Worker I is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing, assembling and preparation of products for shipment. Duties include manufacturing of finished goods or working with manufactured products from machines and vendors, aiding in loading the assembly process, packaging finished products and organizing them for shipments and perform basic checks to ensure quality product and /or loads. This is an on-site hourly position. Additional work hours will be assigned during peak times and year-end.
The Company manufactures and/or distributes a variety of mechanical products for the HVAC, electrical, and plumbing industries. For over 80 years, customers have depended on us for quality products with excellent value, shipped to them in a timely manner. This passion for excellent customer service is the reason they have been growing at a very fast pace and now requires additional shift capacity to meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities:
· Follows all company-established rules and policies; adheres to all safety rules,
quality standards, process documentation, and regulations.
· Maintains all quality indicators for operations by verifying product
quantity/quality according to company requirements.
· Assists production personnel in accordance with instructions and specifications.
· Completes tasks assigned on simple electronic machines.
· Produces the required quantity of parts within established specifications and
tolerances.
· Makes Correct use of basic tools to complete tasks assigned.
· Assembles and packs materials and equipment as required.
· Organizes and prepares goods for shipment.
· Provides general support, performs basic adjustments and maintenance, as well
as essential cleaning duties.
· Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work area.
· Performs other related duties as directed.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to use hands and fingers to type or dial, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and reach with hands and arms.
The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires computer use. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
