Further you will support and participate in current and new safety initiativespolicies as business needs arise
You will follow step by step instructions detailed by senior operators in turnover reports written job instructions or verbal instructions and balance multiple tasks simultaneously
You must demonstrate strong batch chemistry math skills including the ability to accurately perform calculations such as addition subtraction multiplication division and weight percentage conversions across various units of measure
Further you will work in a challenging environment that is typically temperature controlled in areas required but often can be hot dirty dusty and humid while wearing a respirator flame-resistant FR clothing and appropriate safety gear in a setting that can be noisy and demands strict adherence to safety and quality protocols
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining large-scale powder production equipment including atomizers spray dryers power cabinets blenders screeners forklifts scissor lifts cranes and pallet jacks while working with high-pressure gases induction-powered furnaces and high-vacuum equipment ensuring safe and efficient operation in compliance with company procedures and safety standards
