 We are seeking a Production Technician with hands-on experience operating laser robotic drilling or automated manufacturing equipment. This role plays a key part in maintaining precision, quality, and efficiency in our steel pipe production process. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 
 Key Responsibilities:
  •  Operate and monitor laser robotic drilling systems used for precision drilling on steel pipes 
  •  Perform machine setup, part number changeovers, and adjustments to support production runs 
  •  Troubleshoot equipment issues and complete minor mechanical adjustments
  •  Conduct quality inspections using calipers, gauges, measuring tape, and microscopes 
  •  Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
  •  Perform routine preventive maintenance and report equipment issues to maintenance or engineering 
  •  Maintain accurate production logs, inspection records, and documentation
  •  Follow all SOPs, safety procedures, and company policies
  •  Collaborate with operators, engineers, and supervisors to improve processes and reduce downtime
  • Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety protocols, and company policies.
  •  Manage spare parts usage and inventory to prevent production delays 
  •  Take ownership of daily output, quality, and defect rates
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–3 years of experience operating CNC, robotic, or automated manufacturing equipment preferred
  • Experience with laser drilling, robotic machinery, or automated systems strongly preferred
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and specifications
  • Basic understanding of machine programming or controls a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
