Team Leader
Position Snapshot Nestle USA-Pizza Division in Little Chute, WI is hiring 1st shift Team Leader positions. The team leader position is a working role that provides day-to-day tactical on the floor leadership. It is a developmental role with a path to Production Supervisor and/or functional leadership roles. It is an opportunity to learn our processes and procedures while developing your skills and abilities to lead and manage others.
1st shift is from 5:00am-5:00pm Starting rate of pay $34.24 per hour 12 hour shifts 2/2/3 Schedule Comprehensive Benefits Package after 30 days of employment
Position Summary This position is responsible for setting an example for safety, product quality and line performance and providing coaching for success. The actions and reactions of this role are what set the daily tone, culture, and vibe through their own daily actions and reactions. Walking the walk when it comes to the safety of our people, products, consumers and environment.
Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), performance of sanitation audits, food safety checks, and product quality checks conducted according to policies. Actively participate in prevention and correction of quality-related errors Facilitate handoffs and communicate key information to peers, team members and Production Management.

To be successful as a team leader:
Leadership behaviors Food manufacturing with production floor experience preferred Continuous Improvement environment/Lean manufacturing or TPM preferred
Skills:
Ability to maintain a safe working environment through proper housekeeping and safety practices. Ability to adjust communication style to multiple audiences. Communicate issues, ideas, feedback, and information in a timely manner to ensure people have the right information to perform their role successfully. Excellent people skills - maintain a positive attitude and ability to motivate people, specifically coaching individuals for performance and providing appropriate support. Confidence in own capabilities and judgment. Must be willing to face challenging situations. Developed ability to build personal relationships based on trust, mutual respect and open communication.
