Pay Range: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Team Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of employees who operate various machines to manufacture parts and products. As the primary point of contact for team members, this role requires strong communication skills and a proactive approach to maintaining smooth operations and effective collaboration. The Team Lead is expected to lead by example, foster team engagement, and drive performance to meet production goals. This position also requires experience in inventory management and control to ensure accuracy and efficiency in operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.
- Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs.
- Ensure supplied materials flow to process to avoid stock-out/shortages/line stoppage/waiting
- Create and maintain a sense of urgency.
- Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- Directs workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standards.
- Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Estimates, requisitions, and inspects materials.
- Inspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications
- Interfaces with supervisor and others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assigns duties.
- Maintains time and production records
- Monitors employee productivity.
- Ensures all PPE is in use.
- Perform minor maintenance of equipment.
- Communicate in-process defects up/downstream
Qualifications:
- One to two years related experience as a Team Lead in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Education:
- High School Diploma required.
