Candidates must be flexible to manage operations across all three shifts (morning, afternoon, night) with a primary focus on second and third shifts. This role requires overseeing the production process in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, timely delivery, safety, and sanitation standards. Key responsibilities include organizing, executing, and auditing procedures to drive improvements.
The ideal candidate will possess over three years of experience in a leadership role within a manufacturing setting. They should be proficient with manufacturing systems and demonstrably effective in communication, computer proficiency, and time management. Experience in a unionized production environment is highly favored.
Duties also involve close collaboration with the Shift Supervisor to maintain uninterrupted Bakery operations. Candidates must be ready to commit to additional hours, including weekends and holidays.
A high school diploma or GED combined with relevant technical training or machinery operation knowledge is required. An associate degree is strongly preferred.
