RESPONSIBILITIES

Mechanical Assembly & Equipment Support

• Assemble metal workbenches, test station fixtures, production carts, and basic production workstations including adjustments and reconfiguration
• Assist with breakdown and disassembly of equipment for storage, shipment, or service   

Packaging & Material Handling 

• Box, label, and package products per defined procedures  
• Move, stage, and organize parts, bins, and materials across production areas  
• Support material flow and basic inventory organization  

Workspace Organization 

• Maintain clean, safe, and organized production areas  
• Clean tools, benches, and shared equipment regularly  
• Support 5S practices (organization, cleanliness, and standardization)  

Operational Support 

• Follow SOPs for handling tools, materials, and equipment  
• Support production and service teams with general hands-on tasks  
• Escalate issues or inefficiencies to leads or supervisors  

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong mechanical and hands-on aptitude
• Comfortable using basic hand tools (wrenches, drills, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Ability to lift and move materials of up to 35-50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to take direction 
• Reliable attendance and consistent work ethic  
• Comfortable working in a structured production environment  

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 1 year in manufacturing, warehouse, assembly, or production support roles
• Prior metal framing construction experience
• Exposure to equipment handling and packaging
• Familiarity with organized production systems (e.g., 5S principles)
