Production Support Specialist

We're looking for a dependable Production Support Specialist to support our Madison, WI facility who thrives in a fast‑paced production environment and takes pride in accurate data entry, inventory control, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. Compensation

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $20.00 – $26.00 per hour, based on experience and skill level.

Work Schedule

Onsite: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM at the Madison, WI facility

What You'll Do

  • Collect, enter, and verify production data to maintain accurate reporting and KPIs
  • Reconcile work order discrepancies, close work orders, and maintain organized documentation
  • Respond to questions about work order status, materials, and production progress
  • Perform month‑end reconciliation for jobs, batches, raw materials, and finished goods
  • Conduct cycle counts, investigate inventory discrepancies, and maintain accurate stock levels
  • Coordinate with Logistics on material receipts, transfers, and inventory adjustments
  • Enter raw material receipts and verify documentation in ERP/MRP systems (Oracle preferred)
  • Monitor and maintain production supplies including colorants, additives, and chemicals
  • Provide backup support to the Production Scheduler for daily scheduling and reporting
  • Support quality systems including SPC validation, non‑conforming material handling, and recordkeeping
  • Assist with internal and external audits and maintain compliance with quality procedures
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities and follow all safety and quality SOPs

What You Bring

  • Associate Degree + 1 year of experience OR High School Diploma + 5 years in manufacturing, production planning, or inventory control
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with Oracle or other ERP/MRP systems (preferred)
  • High attention to detail with accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and use sound judgment
  • Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with team members and visitors
  • Ability to lift 10–30 lbs. and move throughout office, production, and warehouse areas
